In order to increase the “number of files returned” ftp limit in cpanel using pure-ftp, please follow up the below.
Open the pure ftp configuration file vi /etc/pure-ftpd.conf find the line "LimitRecursion" eg LimitRecursion 3000 9 The first argument is the maximum number of files to be displayed. The second one is the max subdirectories depth
